Avon Way House is a newly refurbished student accommodation development for Colchester, boasting a convenient location for the university campus and town centre and offering high specification student accommodation. It is surrounded by spacious grounds and one side of the development boasts lovely views of the nearby countryside. With frequent bus services stopping directly outside the building, and a 24-hour Tesco nearby, Avon Way House combines outstanding convenience and comfort.

 

Opening in Januray 2008, Avon Way House comprises eight blocks of flats, six of which feature either two or three-bedroom flats. Two blocks have a mixture of four, five and six-bedroom flats. Each flat is completely self-contained and is equipped with a fully-fitted kitchen-diner plus study/relaxing area, as well as new bathrooms, some including separate showers. All rooms feature a brand new divan bed, as well as other standard furnishings and fixtures, and residents have access to 24-hour Broadband.

 

Communal living is equally comfortable. From the Summer of 2008, tenants will have access to an attractive and well equipped common room featuring Sky TV and a Wii machine. Not only is there a laundry in four of the student blocks but a communal laundry also features for added convenience. Some student parking is also available at an additional fee.
