About the accommodation
Choose to live at Forster Hall and you will be living in some of Bradford's best value student accommodation. Available in a mixture of room types, Forster Hall offers something for everyone. With brand new on-site facilities Forster Hall makes the perfect home for all students studying in Bradford. The facilities include:

- Are safes provided in the rooms?
Yes each room comes with a combination safe.
- Can I set up a monthly payment plan?
A payment plan can be set up by the accommodation team for a fee off £100.
- Is the gym included in the rent?
Yes, it's free to use.
- Do I have Wi-Fi in my room?
100Mb Wi-Fi is coming to Forster Hall in September 2015.
- Where can I buy an Ethernet Cable?
Please visit the accommodation office, they will loan you a cable for the duration of the tenancy.
- How far away is the Bradford School of Management?
The Bradford School of Management is a 10 minute bus ride from the accommodation, there is a bus stop located on the university campus. This is a two minute walk from the accommodation office.
- Do I get a discount for paying my rent in full?
We don't offer discounts for the full rent being paid up front.
- Will I be able to cancel my booking if I don't get into university?
You will be able to cancel providing you send a proof email to state your place has been rejected.
- Will I get my booking fee back if I do not get into university?
Yes, providing you can send proof.
- Can I have friends stay over?
You can for a couple of nights a week but you will need to let the accommodation team know. Also you will need to get permission from your flat mates.
- How much is car parking?
Car parking is £75.00 per year. Alternatively there is a weekly pass that can be purchased for £10.00.
- Will my Shisha pipe be confiscated if found in my communal kitchen?
Yes it will be confiscated until the end of your tenancy.
- Can I have a pet?
NO pets are allowed on site (including goldfish, hamsters, rats, snakes and small pets).
- Can I use chip pan?
No, chip pans are banned and will be confiscated if found.
- Can I pay my rent at the office?
Yes, rent can be paid via credit or debit card at the office reception.
- Do I have to pay Council Tax?
Students do not have to pay Council Tax, but you must inform the council that your are a student and apply for exemption as this does not automatically happen. It is the responsibility of every student to apply for exemption, your University/College or accommodation provider cannot do this for you, though we can help you!
- Do I need a UK based guarantor?
You only need to provide a UK-based guarantor if you wish to pay your rent in three instalments. You do not need to provide a guarantor if you’re paying the full annual rent in advance. - What happens to the £250 deposit? Is it refundable?
Yes, when you move in the £250 is put into a Government approved tenancy deposit scheme, it is returned 10 working days after the tenancy ends minus any agreed deductions for damages. This is discussed with you at a check-out inspection.
CRM have arranged some contents insurance for you with Endsleigh, the No.1 student insurance provider. This cover does not protect laptops and phones or other items when you are outside your room. It is important for you to check this cover, so please follow the steps below to ensure you fully understand the protection provided.

Living at Forster Hall
Being a Fresher in any city can be a bit daunting, but don'y worry the CRM team have seen it all before and are on hand to guide you through it.
Our Accommodation team can tell you everything you need to know, from which bus to take to which area serves the best kebab at 1am. Our team are also on hand to help with the more basic questions such as how the oven works (or how to make a Pot Noodle!).

"Majority of our students tend to use the local supermarkets situated on Great Western Road. Especially, Sainsbury’s, some of the items in this store tend to be quite expensive as it is a ‘Sainsbury’s local’. However, it is the closest option and majority of prices are very reasonable."

Best Price Promise - Terms & Conditions
Customers who book with Forster Hall student accommodation for 2015/2016 will automatically be covered by the Best Price Promise if they book on or before the 31st March 2015, subject to the following terms and conditions.
The Best Price Promise ensures customers who book between the 16th March 2015 – 31st March 2015 will automatically benefit for the lowest available price when booking a room with Forster Hall student accommodation for 2015/2016 academic year. The lowest price applicable will be the lowest price advertised between the time of the booking and the tenancy start date. This means If the price for the same room type is reduced after the booking is made but before the start of tenancy Forster hall student accommodation will automatically honour the lowest price to customers covered by the Best Price Promise.
The Best Price Promise is available for a limited time only and will end at midnight on the 31st March 2015 or until Forster Hall student accommodation confirms the offer is no longer available, whichever is the earlier
Customers will remain entitled to the best price if they amend their booking before the officer ends and change room type as a result. The price for the new room will be covered by the Best Price Promise. However, customers will no longer be eligible for the Best Price Promise if amendments resulting in a change of room are made by the customer after the offer ends.
Customers who are in arrears, or who are in breach of their current tenancy agreement for 2014/2015 are not eligible for this offer even if they book before the offer end date.
If the price for an equivalent booking falls below the price paid by the customer a new tenancy agreement will be made to honour the lower rental price of the booking, The customer and the guarantor will be required to accept the terms and conditions of the new tenancy agreement.
