About Holly Court Bristol

Located in the beautiful and vibrant area of Cotham, at the top of St Michael's Hill surrounded by trendy cafés, tea rooms, eateries and several student pubs. Holly Court is in a fantastic location; positioned directly opposite the University of Bristol and just a couple of minutes walk to a bus stop for a direct bus to the main UWE campus. Holly Court puts you at the heart of university life and within easy reach of public transport, shopping, attractions, and great places to socialise.

Holly Court is made up of 41 exclusive studios, with 3 having their own terrace area to enjoy those sunny days, and 4 one-bedroom student apartments. All of these rooms have fully equipped kitchens with ovens, dishwashers and your own washer/dryers so you don’t even have to leave your room to do your laundry. There is also a communal room to study and relax in which gives you access to our outdoor terrace area.

Holly Court is smaller than other standard student halls in Bristol therefore you will find a comfortable environment with a friendly community which is ideal for couples, postgraduates, and final year students. It is not limited to this, so regardless of what stage you are at in your studies, you will find Holly Court an excellent location to spend your student years.

FAQ's

  • Can I pay my booking fee over the phone?

If you're having problems booking online please contact the accommodation team and we can try and assist you, if needed they’ll take your payment over the phone, securing your reservation.

  • Do I need to have a UK-based guarantor?

You only need to provide a UK-based guarantor if you wish to pay your rent in three instalments. You do not need to provide a guarantor if you’re paying the full annual rent in advance.

  • Can I choose who I live with?

We are more than happy to accommodate groups as well as individuals. Where you’re not booking in a group, we understand your flat mates will be key to your experience so when you book as an individual, we will ask you a series of questions to help us to match you with the perfect flatmates.

  • Can I live with my friends?

Yes you can share a flat with your friend in one of our twin studios or as a couple in our 1 bed flats. Please contact the site directly for further information on dual occupancy

  • Do I have to pay council tax?

Students do not have to pay council tax, but you must inform the council that your are a student & apply for exemption as this does not automatically happen. It is the responsibility of every student to apply for exemption, your University/College or accommodation provider cannot do this for you, though we can help you!

Living at Holly Court

Local area

Holly Court is set in the perfect place if you are looking to be based slightly outside the hustle and bustle of the City. Set in Clifton, surrounded by quiet leafy streets dotted with shops, cafe's and restaurants yet just a short walk from the city centre, Holly Court gets the best of both worlds.

For the days you are not studying Bristol offers plenty of things to do. Bristol’s Cabot Circus offers the ultimate shopping experience for students, bringing together a host of high-street and designer brands and confirming the city’s status as the South West’s style capital. With more than 120 stores stocking the latest trends Cabot Circus has something for every taste. There are also various parks to chill out in as well as the river front offering a large mix of bars and restaurants. If none of these take your fancy, why not head out to Bristol Zoo which is just a mile and a half away!

Local pubs, clubs, restaurants and more...

At Holly Court you could not be better placed to spend your days as a student. There are many great bars, pubs and local interests on the door step. We've asked our students to share their favourite local hot spots and lets hear what they have to say:
