1. Can I pay by bank transfer?
Yes, please contact the accommodation team directly on 0844 371 5635 to arrange this.
2. Can I move in early?
Yes, subject to availability. If the room you have booked is unoccupied at the date you wish to move in, an early check in is no problem. Please be aware that all early move ins will be charged at your agreed weekly rate.
3. Can I move out early?
Yes but you will still have to pay rent for the full length of your agreed tenancy, even if you no longer live at Gallery Apartments.
4. Do I have to pay Council Tax?
Students do not have to pay Council Tax, but you must inform the council that your are a student & apply for exemption as this does not automatically happen. It is the responsibility of every student to apply for exemption, your University/College or accommodation provider cannot do this for you, though we can help you!
5. Can I live with my partner?
Yes you can share a studio with a partner, but you have to book together. 1-off double occupancy fee of £100 will be incurred for additional facility usage within the building, charge will be applied mid contract. Please contact the site for further information.
6. Do I need a UK based guarantor?
You only need to provide a UK-based guarantor if you wish to pay your rent in three installments. You do not need to provide a guarantor if you’re paying the full annual rent in advance.

7. Are bills included?
Yes, utility bills are included but there is a fair usage policy. Internet is also included.
8. How much is the deposit and what happens to it?
There is a £250 deposit. All deposits are registered with TDS which is a government accredited Tenancy Deposit Protection Scheme provider. At the end of your tenancy a final inspection of your room will be carried out prior to your move out and if any deductions are required they will be discussed with you at this point. Assuming the room and its belongings are in the same condition as when you moved and you have provided your bank details within our Portal you will get your deposit back within 10 working days.
CRM have arranged some contents insurance for you with Endsleigh, the No.1 student insurance provider. This cover does not protect laptops and phones or other items when you are outside your room. It is important for you to check this cover, so please follow the steps below to ensure you fully understand the protection provided.

It is important to find out exactly what you are covered for, as you may find that the contents cover is not sufficient and you need to extend it to protect all of your possessions both inside and outside of your room.

As well as some of the best shopping outside of London, Glasgow has a vibrant arts & music scene with the Gallery of Modern Art, Transmission Gallery, King Tuts & the famous Barrowlands to mention but a few - all again within walking distance.
