Student Accommodation Portsmouth
Portsmouth has a population of 22,000 students studying between 4 colleges and Universities and is only an hour from London by car, and 90 minutes by train.
There are also regular bus services to all parts of Portsmouth and the surrounding area, and National Express Coach connections are available across the UK.
Portsmouth is the second largest city in the county of Hampshire on the south coast of England and is also the UK’s only island city.
The city has excellent rail, road and ferry links which provide international connections to France, Spain and the Channel Islands and national connections to the Isle of Wight, Gosport and Hayling Island.
Whether you want to socialise with your friends at one of the city’s many bars, café’s and restaurants, or dance at one of the city’s clubs or live music venues, there is plenty of the things to do within this vibrant city, including the many sporting facilities available at the Mountbatten Centre.
Portsmouth’s Guildhall offers regular bands, comedy acts and concerts whilst Gunwharf Quays offers bowling, a multi screen cinema and multiple museums and not forgetting the world’s oldest dry dock which displays several famous ships, including HMS Warrior, the Mary Rose, and Lord Nelson’s flagship HMS Victory.
Gunwharf Quays is also one of Portsmouth’s two main shopping areas, boasting a designer outlet as well as high street brand names, whilst Southsea offers a selection of quirky and vintage shops.
With all of this going on, there is plenty to keep you going when you’re not busy studying.
