Application Process
Yes, Churchill Parade is ideal for friends sharing accommodation and you need to let us know who your group of friends is when you apply for a tenancy. Provided we have the availability at the time of your booking, there shouldn't be a problem.

You only need to provide a UK-based guarantor if you wish to pay your rent in instalments. You do not need to provide a guarantor if you're paying the full annual rent in advance.

Your booking fee is only refundable if we're unable to make you an offer of accommodation - in this case we'll return it in full.

You will still be liable for the rent due under the contract unless you or we can find another student to take it over. We can only try to find a replacement once all of our other rooms are full. If you find a replacement, we'll simply charge you a £50 administration fee and rent up to the time the new tenant contract starts.

You'll be sent application forms to be completed by you and your guarantor. Once your references have been approved you will be sent your tenancy agreements.
If you don't return these within the time-frame given, together with payment either by direct debit or a credit/debit card for the initial monies due (as well as your signed direct debit form), we can't guarantee your accommodation.

Yes, for Churchill Parade. You and your flatmates will be responsible for the utility bills, so make sure you don't leave lights or heaters on when not in use, and don't waste hot water! You'll keep your carbon footprint down too!

Your rent includes a broadband service with bandwidth management and a help-desk. There are no connection fees or other charges.

You need to pay a booking fee to secure your accommodation reservation. The booking fee is non-refundable, unless we cannot make you an offer of accommodation in which case we will return it to you in full.

Yes, you need to ensure there are enough funds in your account. If any items are returned unpaid you'll be charged a £30 administration fee (and your bank may charge you too).

Moving In
No. You cannot move in until we've received your rent and deposit in cleared funds. You should normally pay these at least 10 days prior to your tenancy start date.

Yes. This must be returned to the office within 7 days of inspection. The inventory also tells us where we should send your deposit at the end of your tenancy, so it's in your interest to get the inventory back to us!

Moving Out
Yes. As a condition of your contract you need to be present at a check-out inspection of your accommodation so we can agree if there's any damage and so you can confirm where you'd like us to send your deposit cheque.

We'll send your deposit back within two weeks of the end of your tenancy, providing there are no sums outstanding.
