If you choose a standard room at St Margaret’s you’ll pay £68 per week – below the average student rent for the city centre. Your rent also includes all utilities and connection to the university’s IT system. Reserving your room is easy. You simply pay a £100 non-refundable booking fee. Part of this fee converts to a security/damage deposit at the start of your tenancy and will be refunded at the end of your tenancy. This is so long as you’ve looked after your room and paid your rent, plus any other outstanding charges. That’s it.

All tenants are required to provide a UK-based guarantor. The guarantor agrees to pay the rent, and any other unpaid charges in the event of the tenant being unable to do so.
