Frequently Asked Questions

What is the booking process?

Once you have selected your room type, our on-site team will help you reserve the room with a security deposit of £250.

We will then issue you with a Tenancy Agreement for the room. Once this is signed (which can be done online), the room is confirmed. Once the Tenancy agreement is signed, there is a contractual obligation to make the payments. It is advisable to read this carefully and seek independent advice if required.

Are there any additional bills to pay?

There are no additional bills to pay. Our weekly rents include all costs – utilities, Wi-Fi, tenant insurance, on-site security and access to all of our communal areas including Management Office, Shared Dining Facilities, Study Zone, Communal Lounge and Cinema Room.

Laundry is run on a top-up card system at a small extra cost.

How do I pay?

Payment can be made by simple bank transfer. Our on-site team will assist in every step of the process.

Do we need a guarantor?

If you pay the rent for the period of the tenancy in one payment, you do not need a guarantor.

If you pay by instalment, a guarantor will be required. The name of the guarantor must be documented on the application at the time of booking. The guarantor will need to agree by additionally signing the tenancy paperwork.

What is a guarantor?

A guarantor is a person aged 18 or above who accepts joint financial responsibility for the tenancy and is liable to pay the rent if for any reason the student is unable to maintain payment of the rents as they fall due.

The landlord has the right to pursue the guarantor for recovery of outstanding monies – therefore, it is important that any guarantor understands their obligations

The Best University City in the UK

Newcastle is a truly cosmopolitan city.

Linked to nearby Gateshead by seven bridges across the spectacular River Tyne, Newcastle (the North East of England’s major city on the north bank) and Gateshead (the town on the south bank) form a single, diverse and extremely vibrant destination.

You’ll be amazed at how much is on offer. World-class culture, pulsating nightlife, award-winning dining, inspiring heritage, fabulous shopping and acclaimed architecture – all spectacularly linked by the famous Geordie spirit that flows throughout.

Gateshead Stadium – a global venue for top-notch athletics.

Or sprint to the challenge of The Great North Run, a world-famous event for runners of all levels.

Casual drinks with friends, a quick bite to eat, or an epic night out – find it all, often with discounts and promotions for students.

Film buffs can revel in the Tyneside Cinema that shows everything from art house to cult international. Like live? Visit any one of four theatres to unwind with internationally acclaimed productions and amateur one-offs.
